The city centre on the Moor and Fargate have a wide choice of shopping including Marks&Spencers and Boots.
The Moor Market includes local food, drinks, a food court and other independent businesses.
Division Street, Ecclesall and Abbeydale Road have a number of independent retailers.
The Cambridge Street Collective is the biggest purpose-built foodhall in Europe, and won “UK food hall of the year” in 2024.
There is also Cutlery Works (Kelham) and Sheffield Plate in Orchard Square.
There are a huge number of bars and pubs In Kelham Island, many specialise in Craft Beer and offer riverside views. Favourites include The Fat Cat and Hymn to Ninkasi.
Orchard Square offers a number of bars, pubs and restaurants. The Old Shoe specialises in craft beer and natural wines, as well as homemade soft drinks. Nearby, under the City Hall is Public, an award-winning cocktail bar in an old public toilet.
