Shopping

The city of Cambridge has a great shopping scene with many independent shops. Visit the Guide to Shopping in Cambridge to find some must-visit streets.

Food and Drink

The city centre offers a wide range of places to eat and drink. These are some of our favourites:

  • Aromi - a slice of Sicilian life in the heart of Cambridge.
  • Pint Shop - great place for casual eating.
  • Savino's - excellent coffee.
  • Tipsy Vegan - vegan with plenty of gluten free options and yummy cocktails.
  • Jack's Gelato - pudding on the go.
  • The MillWorks - North African flavours, near the venue.
  • Granta - full of fresh and seasonal house-made dishes, with a nice riverside terrace.
  • Salathong - Thai cuisine.
  • Fitzbillies Tea Room- there are two branches of Fitzbillies, one at each end of town, the original in Trumpington Street, and the new branch in Bridge Street.
  • Mill Road Restaurants - further afield but there are some lovely global cuisine restaurants on Mill Roar.

There are plenty of eating places around Benet Street and near the Corn Exchange. Visit Restaurants in Cambridge to check more options.
