For comprehensive information please visit the University of Cambridge website.
Air
The nearest airport to the venue is London Stansted Airport; there are frequent trains from here to Cambridge. More information can be found on the Stansted Airport website where you can also find bus and taxi information.
Gatwick Airport is also well connected to Cambridge, with direct trains running every half an hour. You can find more information on how to get to and from Gatwick on the airport's webpage.
Birmingham International Airport is also connected to Cambridge. Check the West Midlands Railway to find more information.
There are three other airports in London: London Heathrow, London City Airport and Luton Airport. Please check their website for more information.
Rail:
Cambridge has two train stations – Cambridge and Cambridge North. Frequent trains run between each (approx. 4 minute journey time). If arriving into Cambridge by train we recommend using Cambridge train station as this provides access to a large taxi rank and the Universal ‘U’ bus with direct access to the site (approx. 20 minute journey time).
Bus
The Universal ‘U’ bus is the best way to travel to the conference venue and stops at the entrance to the site with direct links from the central train station and Madingley Road Park and Ride sites. The West Road/University Library stop is the nearest stop.
Walking
The venue is situated a 10 minute walk from the city centre and a 35 minute walk from Cambridge train station.
Road & Parking
We encourage delegates to make use of public transport.
There is limited on-street paid parking on West Road adjacent to the site. Please note that stays are limited to four hours so will not be suitable for all day parking. If you wish to drive it is best to use one of the city’s 5 Park and Ride sites which will take you to the city centre. Central car parks are available but please note that car parking in Cambridge is very expensive. The nearest central car park to the venue is at the Grand Arcade.
