We are very conscious of the fact that offering an equivalent conference online isn't possible, due to the length of the conference and how packed our schedule always is. We don't think moving the conference online would make for a good delegate or presenter experience. Instead the LILAC committee have started planning FestivIL by LILAC - an online event that will support the information literacy community for 2021, which is due to take place 6th-8th July 2021 across three half days – more information on this coming soon.
If you're a presenter or a delegate with a deferred place, please keep an eye on your email as we will be in touch with you to let you know what your options are. To everyone else - please check our website and social media feeds for updates, and we hope to see you in person at LILAC 2022 at Manchester Metropolitan University, 11th-13th April 2022.
LILAC is great opportunity for our fellow professionals to present their ideas, share best practice and show case new thinking in our sector. If you have an idea then we'd love to hear about it. We have many options for the types of sessions you might run from a symposium to a workshop. Visit our Call for Presentations page to find out how to apply.
Places at this year's conference are likely to be in demand more than ever before. Each year our conference grows increasingly popular and this year promises to be no different. Don't miss out and book your place now for this year's conference.
We look forward to seeing you there!
