Bursary winners announced!
We're pleased to announce the winners of the LILAC 2017 bursaries are:
Rebecca Chetwood - Leeds City College (@BeatleBecks)
Aurelie Gandour - Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust (@aurelie_sol)
Myfanwy Jones - Conwy County Borough Council
Rebecca Scott - St Aubyn’s School (@the_bookette)
For LILAC 2017 we offered 4 free conference places for librarians working in the following sectors in the UK:
The conference place includes 3 days attendance of all LILAC sessions and our social events (networking evening and conference dinner). Accommodation and travel expenses up to the value of £250 are also available if required.
To be eligible for a place you must be a librarian or information professional working in the above mentioned sectors in the UK. You will have to show your commitment to information literacy by writing a short personal statement and explaining what benefits you would gain from attending the conference and how you intend to use your conference experience in your work.
LILAC is great opportunity for our fellow professionals to present their ideas, share best practice and show case new thinking in our sector. If you have an idea then we'd love to hear about it. We have many options for the types of sessions you might run from a symposium to a workshop. Visit our Call for papers page to find out how to apply.
Places at this year's conference are likely to be in demand more than ever before. Each year our conference grows increasingly popular and this year promises to be no different. Don't miss out and book your place now for this year's conference.
We look forward to seeing you there!
