For travel from the station or hotels based in the City Centre to Julian Hodge:
- We would estimate it would take 25 minutes to walk from Cardiff Castle to Julian Hodge Building. It's approximately a 40 minute walk from the station and so delegates may prefer to use public transport.
- There are frequent trains from Cardiff Central station or Queen Street station which go to Cathays (University) station in a couple of minutes. The Julian Hodge building is a 10 minute walk from there. Trains to catch would be those bound for Treherbert, Aberdare or Pontypridd.
- There are also buses from St.Mary's Street which is just around the corner from the station. The number 27 goes from stand number 2 (by Hodge House) and stops on Colum Road near the entrance to the Julian Hodge Building. The correct money is needed. Fares will be approximately £1.20 to £1.40 depending on distance travelled.
- Taxis are available at central station on arrival and a fare to Julian Hodge would cost approximately £6-7.
